Learning and growing in community

Social Opportunity Group's first project started in the community of Monte Chingolo, Argentina way back in 2013. Food for Thought began as a small health and education program aimed at primary school-aged children living in this vulnerable community. Since then, it has grown and evolved into much more than just nutritious food and creative educational activity for children. We moved into a community learning center and began a collaboration with the Arché Foundation, created and facilitated music festivals, planted gardens, built a commercial kitchen, designed and delivered earth-building workshops, created an international volunteer program, designed an integrated therapeutic approach to family support including a team of psychologists, teachers, social workers, and nutritionists...the list goes on. Below are a few short videos giving you an idea of what we do. Enjoy!
