Little trip

This is the venue Centro Don Basco in Tucumán. We played a few games with the kids

They had an amazing kitchen that I was very jealous of. One day we will have one like this.

My friend Maria took me to this place where a man and his mother had changed their house into a food and education centre. It is right smack in the middle of the slum and it is truly amazing. I haven’t seen any of the work they do but the fact that they have created this space and are funding it themselves makes me want to hug them every time I see them.

I visited a slum in Jujuy. I found this cute little residence within.

From up on the hill

I met this guy. His name is Roberto. He is 58 years old. He has 16 children with 5 different women. He was a nice guy but to be honest, it is people like him who are not helping the situation in these areas. It is a shame because guys like Roberto are common, so there are many single women out there with no support from the father of the many children she has had. It does take two to tango so the mothers also have a role to play in these matters. The problem is that the generations before have done the same thing so it is difficult to change this culture that is embedded in their families for a very long time.

This is the inside of his house.
