Because of the privatisation of the running of the railways, the train network is performing at significantly less than it’s capacity. “LINK” So this means I have to get used to the much used bus system. I think the key ingredient in taking the bus is “hang on”. The doors will be swinging open while the bus is still moving and the bus will be taking off before you have boarded. The bus will also be traveling as fast as possible when at all possible! From where I come from, these buses would be considered as dangerous. Here in Argentina they are the norm. In saying that, the buses are extremely regular and a very fast way to get around. I am enjoying the bus rides as I get to see all walks of life and get a picture of the general public. The greeny in me says: It is also great for the environment with this many people using public transport!
